2024 VEX Robotics World Championship

One of my hobbies outside of school is participating in VEX Robotics. This April, I had the incredible opportunity to qualify for and compete in the competition. Here’s a photo I captured during one of the event’s ceremonies.

2024 Washington State Mini-Teams Chess Championship

On November 9, 2024, I proudly reintroduced our school’s chess club to the competitive scene, marking our return since pre-COVID times. Organizing this event, we sent four teams to compete. It was a rewarding day of leadership and teamwork as I managed the teams and also competed, helping us secure 2nd and 5th place. Proud to celebrate this moment with everyone! I am the second person on the left.

Vex Ignite’s High Stakes Showdown – November 16, 2024

It was refreshing to compete in a robotics competition without the hassle of boarding a plane or cramming tools into a carry-on. Hosting this VEX V5 Robotics Competition at our local high school made the day feel both familiar and exciting. Even better, we walked away with the Excellence Award, Tournament Champion Award, and Skills Champion Award—a solid payoff for staying grounded.
